Mega Toto 6/52 jackpot, which snowballed to a whopping RM16.41 million on last Wednesday's draw (draw no 3011/08) was ultimately won by a single winning ticket. The lucky winner is from Penang.

The winning number drawn were 1, 13, 28, 41, 42 & 43.

Until press time, the lucky winner has yet to claim the hefty prize money. As such, the identity and background of the winner remains a guessing game.

According to Sports Toto's records, the highest jackpot ever paid by the company is RM19.27 million. The jackpot was won by a fifties something businessman and his family members from Johore Bharu on 6 January 2008.

The jackpot won last Wednesday is the second highest jackpot recorded by Sports Toto. The snowballed amount of the jackpot stood at RM16,411,842.83.

Meanwhile, three women from Sabah won the third highest jackpot, amounting to RM15.94 million on 23 May 2005.

The forth-highest jackpot won was RM12.92 million, which was shared by six winning tickets on 21 April 2001. They were eight winners, two each from Kuala Lumpur, Seremban, Pahang and Johore

After the winning, the jackpot amount of Mega Toto 6/52 will revert to RM2 million, its minimum prize payout and the jackpot will start accumulating again.

Sports Toto launched the mega Toto 6/52 lotto game in June last year. The maximum payout is RM20 million.
